Red Dunes Esports, in partnership with Red Dunes Games, has officially launched a new esports organization focused on fighting games (FGC – Fighting Game Community). This is the first such project in the United Arab Emirates, which has the ambition to become one of the leading players on the global scene.
The organization is led by well-known professionals Adel Anouche and Amjed Al Shalabi, long-time members of the world fighting scene, who have competed for renowned teams such as REJECT and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Their goal is to build a strong organization that will represent the growing force of the Middle East in competitive fighting games.
Alongside them, the team also includes brothers Abdulla (Abood) and Mohamed (Hamood) Kdaimati, who symbolize the foundation of the community and the long-standing friendship on which the project is built.
The esports industry continues to experience strong growth, with global revenues expected to reach around 5.1 billion US dollars by 2026. Red Dunes Esports plans to capitalize on this momentum and position itself as a key player within the FGC scene.
As BigBird and AngryBird emphasize, the organization was born out of a desire to return to its roots and build something of its own: “We left the UAE to become the best, but we never forgot where we came from. Red Dunes Esports is based on brotherhood and the values that shaped us.”
Given the increasing interest in fighting games and esports in general, Red Dunes Esports could become one of the most exciting new names on the global scene.
