Capcom has officially confirmed that it will participate in this year's gamescom 2026 in Cologne. The announcement was shared by Capcom Europe, along with confirmation that the company will be present throughout the duration of the fair.
So far, no details have been released about the games that Capcom will showcase, nor is it known whether visitors will be able to try out any of the upcoming titles. The official exhibitor page for gamescom 2026 still states that the list of exhibitors, products, and the interactive hall plan will be announced later.
Last year, three games could be tried: Resident Evil Requiem, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Pragmata. Unsurprisingly, the longest lines were for Resident Evil, with a wait of 6 hours to try the demo version!
This year, we expect that it will be possible to try Resident Evil Veronica and Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance. As a portal, we hope to receive an invitation for a presentation behind closed doors.
Gamescom 2026 will take place from August 26 to August 30, 2026, while Opening Night Live is scheduled for August 25, 2026.
