Game Jawn and Daybreak Game Company have announced the release date for the MMORPG Everquest Legends. It will be available on July 28 for $20, after which you will pay a monthly subscription of $10.
Pre-orders are also open, granting you access to an early beta that will take place from July 1 to July 21, the opportunity to get an in-game name, and the title The Legend that you can add to your character's name.
EverQuest Legends is a new version of the classic EverQuest that was released in 1999, bringing nostalgia and the magic of the original along with a host of new features and changes. It has also been redeveloped to cater to players who enjoy solo and relaxed gameplay, while those seeking a challenge will find standard group activities (up to four players) and raids (up to eight players).
Players will have the option to create their own powerful character from one of three classes (rogue/paladin/wizard) and will become stronger with each new level, gaining better equipment to confront tough enemies. At launch, a range of content from the Antonica (pre-Kunark) era, i.e., the vanilla version, as well as playable races (ksar, Frogloks, and Kerran) will be available, along with some surprises.
