We played another (children's) game published by Outright Games, which has been available since October 24, 2025, on XBOX Series X/S, XBOX One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The game starts with a fox grabbing the Super-Duper Duplicator, and now his clones are causing chaos everywhere. Dora and Boots must fix the Duplicator and restore the vibrant Alebrije tree.

The gameplay is expectedly simple, primarily involving moving from point A to point B with the goal of collecting magical leaves and pods from the Alebrije tree.

The game is suitable for its target audience, pleasant to play, quite simple, and what might be particularly interesting for children is that Dora comments on everything she does, so there shouldn't be any difficulties in playing this game. The occasional highlighting of words in Spanish might motivate someone to decide to learn the Spanish language (or at least some words).

The game does not require any special skill. All you need to know is jumping, running, and collecting items. You can finish the game quickly, but if you want to collect everything you encounter along the way, the game can have an extended lifespan, especially for the target population (children) who will replay certain levels for that reason.

We would not recommend this game for older players, even when playing it with children, as it will not be as fun as, for example, Bluey: The Videogame, which was also published by Outright Games but did a far better job. In the game, you collect various items like stickers and collectibles. There are multiple maps, different mini-games, and activities like watering flowers. In terms of collecting items, Bluey: The Videogame is significantly better than Dora: Rainforest Rescue. There is also another game, Peppa Pig: World Adventures, which was also published by Outright Games and impressed us with its silly humor and stereotypes of certain tourist spots, while being quite useful for children when traveling to different cities like Paris or New York, as it provides both fun and educational value. The aforementioned elements are lacking in Dora: Rainforest Rescue. However, you know how popular Dora is and how much children love her, so we have no doubt that this game will be fun, easy, and sufficiently challenging for kids. After playing several games from Outright Games, we can confidently conclude that they understand the market for children's and family video games.
