Sackbird Studios, an independent studio founded by former lead developers and key members of the development team of The Elder Scrolls Online, has introduced its first project, Hijinks High. It is a chaotic first-person multiplayer party game currently in development for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as for consoles.
Hijinks High is envisioned as a school day turned into complete chaos. Players team up with up to five friends and try to create as much chaos as possible before the final bell, using the school as an interactive playground full of objects, props, and opportunities for pranks. Lockers, balls, trays, jetpacks, and almost anything that isn't bolted down can become part of the arsenal.
The game combines physics, player creativity, and systems for surviving the school day. Consuming food and drinks provides useful bonuses, but also potential side effects like nausea, bladder issues, or loss of consciousness. The goal is to survive the day, avoid teachers, cause as much mayhem as possible, and ultimately make it to the bus.
Hijinks High currently does not have a release date.
