Pre-orders are already available.

The physical edition of Red Dead Redemption for PlayStation 5 has been officially confirmed – and quite quietly. Without any announcement from Rockstar Games, the disc version has appeared for sale through Amazon online store, where pre-orders are already open.

According to available information, the release is set for May 4, 2026, at a price of around $29.99. Although details are currently lacking, it has been confirmed that the content matches the digital version – it includes the single-player campaign and the Undead Nightmare expansion.

Interestingly, Rockstar Games has yet to officially comment on this release, suggesting a sort of “stealth launch.” This is not the first time such information has surfaced before an official confirmation – the physical edition previously leaked through retail listings.

As a reminder, the remastered version of the game brings improvements such as 4K resolution, 60 FPS, and HDR support, although it is a relatively modest technological upgrade compared to the original.

For collectors and fans of physical editions, this is finally an opportunity to have the cult western on disc, and on the current generation of consoles.
