Studio Rockstar Games, known for its work on the game Grand Theft Auto VI, found itself in a new scandal after the British tax authority found irregularities in payments to employees. According to a report by HM Revenue and Customs, Rockstar Games UK underpaid a total of £1,396.73 to five employees, which is around £279 per person. It's about workers in the Rockstar North studio, the main team responsible for the development of GTA 6. It's a relatively small amount for a company that generates billions of revenue, despite this, the case has caused criticism of Rockstar Games. This is not the first time that the company has found itself under the microscope. Earlier, accusations related to the use of state subsidies and the alleged suppression of unions appeared, and the case was even mentioned in the British Parliament. The latest incident further casts a shadow over the reputation of one of the biggest gaming studios in the industry.
