Machine Games has announced that the upcoming title Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will contain a special message upon startup related to Nazi symbols within it. In the game, we will see a swastika, Nazi uniforms of soldiers and generals, and posters that Indiana can burn for extra points; censorship will only be implemented in Germany, where any display of Nazi symbols is legally prohibited.
"Please note that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a fictional story, inspired by historical events and figures. The names, characters, organizations, locations, and events in this game are either products of imagination or depicted in a fictional manner, and there is no intention to demean historical or cultural beliefs. The story and content of this game are not and should not be interpreted as glorifying or supporting the beliefs, ideologies, events, people, and behaviors of Nazi, fascist, and other regimes, nor as trivializing war crimes, genocide, or other crimes against humanity," said Machine Games.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on December 6 for PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles, while the PS5 version will be released in 2025.
