Ika Chu wants to expand his palace at all costs, even if it means destroying the village. Hank and Jimbo face numerous troubles, from various enemies such as ninja cats and Viking warriors, to key battles where they must defend the temple areas of Kakamucho, Dookiehill, and Pippishore. The game combines elements of traditional feudal Japan with humor and imaginative characters, creating a pleasant and accessible story for all ages.

The game combines combat with a katana and bow and arrow, along with additional mechanics such as double jumping, rolling, and hook grappling that allow for dynamic movement through the game world.
