Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 will receive a new season. The season is set to begin on February 10 and is planned to end in winter 2027. In addition to various special events and gameplay changes, three characters have been announced: Kunimitsu (spring), Bob (summer), and Roger Jr. (autumn).

Kunimitsu has had several versions throughout the series, but her first appearance was in Tekken 1, Roger Jr. made his debut in Tekken 5, while Bob appeared in Tekken 6.

From February 10 to March 16, there will be an event celebrating two years since the release of Tekken 8, and players will have the opportunity to receive certain gifts, as well as purchase various items to customize their favorite fighters. As for the tournament, the season will officially start on May 1 in Japan at the traditional event EVO.
