RedOctane Games studio known for the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises has announced a new title Stage Tour. They are returning to the well-known formula but will introduce modern twists. Stage Tour will be released for PC and consoles this fall, and the team will reveal more soon.
"Stage Tour is our love letter to rhythm games. We want it to be recognizable and authentic, but also fresh by using new technology to connect players with the music they love and to enjoy a platform that will evolve over time. With new instruments and a gaming field, we are raising the bar on what we consider a rhythm game, but of course, we are also here for those who want a normal experience and fun." said studio head Simon Ebejer.
Stage Tour will also collaborate with Gibson, so we will see guitars from the brands Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer in the game.
