Unlike the domestic Croteam, which has been producing Serious Sam sequels since 2001 and does not opt for releasing shooters of another kind, we have A.A.U. Black Site coming from Serbia, with a demo available to try out via Steam.
Players will step into the abandoned region of Uzovnica as operatives of the A.A.U. special forces, where a routine mission quickly turns into complete chaos. Ambushed, framed, and cut off from support, you remain trapped in enemy territory as the reality around you begins to unravel.
Combining tactical combat and psychological horror, A.A.U. Black Site throws players into a relentless fight for survival, depicted through a chilling bodycam perspective. Explore claustrophobic locations, customize your playstyle with a wide arsenal of weapons, and uncover the truth hidden behind the Black Site complex.
The Early Access version is set to release on May 21, 2026. Players will have access to only two levels. This initial phase is just the beginning, as additional story chapters, new weapons, enemies, and locations are planned during the Early Access period, with development shaped directly through player feedback.
We will certainly keep a close eye on the further development of this intriguing game. At the same time, we will lament that Croteam did not decide to release a shooter with horror elements themed around the Homeland or World War II.
