HumanitZ, a game by the independent studio Yodubzz Studios and publisher indie.io, is completely leaving Steam Early Access and officially launching its 1.0 version on February 6, 2026, after more than two years of development and over 18 major updates through early access.
In this survival adventure, players find themselves in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies where humanity is on the brink of extinction. Players must search for supplies, build fortifications, craft weapons, and fight against increasingly dangerous enemies to survive in a ruthless environment. They can team up with up to three friends in cooperative play or try to survive alone.
New features in the 1.0 version include redesigned character models and advanced customization, completely overhauled skill and profession systems, and an expanded infection system that makes every fight against zombies significantly more dangerous. A new endgame area – the Mysterious Island has also been added, featuring advanced threats and hidden secrets for brave players.
The game world "Anywhere, USA" has received a densed environment and more points of interest such as abandoned hospitals, suburban ruins, and dense forests full of resources and threats. The game will support multiple languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Italian.
