Kakao Games and Ocean Drive Studio have released a new gameplay video for God Save Birmingham, an upcoming medieval zombie survival game full of physics-driven mechanics, to promote the Closed Alpha test starting soon. The video showcases bloody and brutal combat against the undead using various weapon options — from sickles that sever limbs to hammers and even improvised pieces of meat used as bludgeoning weapons against zombies. It also features crafting systems, destructible environments, and barricading doors to prevent horde breaches. A new guide system has also been introduced to help players navigate the early stages of the game.

The Closed Alpha test is divided into two phases: Phase 1 (February 19–23, 2026) is reserved for existing pre-alpha testers, while Phase 2 (February 26 – March 2, 2026) includes both new and returning testers, with applications open via Steam. The game is available to add to your wishlist on the official Steam page where all testing information can be found.

God Save Birmingham places players in a infected medieval Birmingham full of dangers, where they must manage resources, craft weapons, and survive in a world filled with the undead.
