Fans can expect more dynamic online content with new and returning modes.

New information about Forza Horizon 6 is coming from Playground Games. In a new social media post, the developers showcased the various gameplay modes we will be able to try in multiplayer. Alongside the familiar modes from previous installments, there are also several completely new ones that should further refresh online racing.

Among the classic features is Horizon Racing, which encompasses various types of races, from road and off-road to street races. Popular modes like The Eliminator, which functions as a battle royale, and Hide & Seek, where one player hides while others try to find them, are also returning.

Among the new features, Spec Racing stands out, a mode where all participants race in the same car. Togue Showdown focuses on intense one-on-one duels. Horizon Drift has also been introduced, a competitive drift mode where the player with the most points wins.

The official release of Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled for May 19, 2026, and buyers of the Premium Edition will be able to play as early as May 15 through early access. The game will be available from day one on Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms, including the Game Pass catalog, while PlayStation 5 owners will have to wait a bit longer for their release later this year.
