The new action-adventure platformer game Darwin’s Paradox is coming to PlayStation 5 later this year, developed by the French studio ZDT Studio. The game tells the story of an octopus named Darwin who is kidnapped from the ocean and ends up in a mysterious food factory, where he must find a way to escape.
The developers aimed to faithfully convey the feeling of movement and the abilities of the octopus, which is made possible by the advanced features of the DualSense controller. Players will be able to climb almost any surface, use camouflage, and shoot ink to solve puzzles and avoid enemies. The vibrations and speakers of the controller further enhance the gaming experience, while HDR, ray tracing, and advanced lighting bring the underwater and industrial world of the game to life. Throughout the adventure, Darwin will avoid dangerous machines, security systems, and packs of rats, while the touchpad assistance system will offer tips when players get stuck.
