On the occasion of the celebration, 35 years of Blizzard Entertainment announced that it will hold four special presentations for its four franchises. Starting from January 29 to February 11, we will get a glimpse into the future of World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, and Hearthstone.
"Blizzard has been 35 years marked by the worlds it creates and the players who have enabled its popularity. You have fought through World of Warcraft and Diablo, played your cards in Hearthstone, and held the front line in Overwatch. We have come a long way together, and now a new chapter begins. Over the next few weeks, each world will show you what’s next. If these games mean something to you, be sure to join us. This will not only be about updates but about where Blizzard is heading next with the support of players."
The full event schedule is as follows:
- World of Warcraft: State of Azeroth (January 29 at 6 PM)
- Overwatch Spotlight (February 4 at 7 PM)
- Hearthstone Spotlight (February 9 at 6:30 PM)
- Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight (February 11 at 11 PM)
On the celebration itself, Blizzard Entertainment President Johanna Faries said: "Our exceptionally talented teams have gathered a star lineup for players around the world. This major event comes at a time when we reflect on three and a half decades of Blizzard's history and great ambitions for the future. This is just part of what we will showcase for our titles throughout the year, and we can't wait to bring them to players."
