Shueisha Games and Apog Labs have announced that their co-op survival title ATMOSFAR will enter Early Access on May 20, 2026, on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
This is a “sky-high” survival adventure that combines exploration, base building, and resource management in a unique world of floating islands. Players will explore the unknown planet Tycos, trying to uncover the fate of the last human colony, either solo or in cooperation with up to four players.
One of the key mechanics is the use of flying vehicles called Wasp, which come in several variants – from reconnaissance to combat – while the larger Cloud Cruiser serves as a mobile base and central hub for upgrades and resource management.
Gameplay is based on resource gathering, crafting, and upgrading equipment, with a constant focus on inventory and system maintenance. Additionally, the game features dynamic weather conditions such as storms and strong winds, which further complicate exploration and survival.
ATMOSFAR also emphasizes co-op gameplay, where players jointly manage the base, explore the islands, and develop their flying fleets, which should be one of the key elements of long-term enjoyment.
