Famous awards and influencers who are coming

The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) has released a teaser video for the Tokyo Game Show and also revealed which influencers, as well as valuable prizes, will be waiting for visitors. The Tokyo Games Show 2026 will take place from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba and will be the first time in the event's history that it will last five days. The visual for this year was drawn by Zashikiwarashi, known for unique artworks and a distinctive worldview.

In the prize campaign, six people in total will win a one-day ticket for the day when the public can attend, celebrating the 30th anniversary of this event. More information on how to participate can be found through the social media of TGS.

TGS BOOSTERZ is part of the event organized last year and is returning this year, aiming to increase and share the significance of TGS with the rest of the world through influencers. Among them will be content creators, celebrities, and media members from both Japan and other parts of the world. They will keep us updated with the latest news and share experiences through live streams and social media.

As the 30th anniversary of the Tokyo Games Show is celebrated, the number of TGS BOOSTERZ members will also be 30. By using social media posts, CESA will build anticipation and excitement with BOOSTERZ even before the event officially begins. The first wave of invitees includes: Ella Freya (Ashley Graham in RE4 Remake), Kayane (French esports journalist), Junpei Zaki (gaming and TikTok influencer) & Taizo Zaki (YouTuber and TikToker) and Shao Dow (rapper, manga author).

CESA has also informed sponsors and exhibitors as the application deadline approaches (May 22) and announced that this year they will expand the exhibition halls, opening space for more exhibitors. Along with video game fans and industry professionals, influencers and media will also be invited this year to help companies gain global recognition.
