The Reykjavik studio Bunkhouse Games and indie publisher Shoreline Games have announced Flock Off!, a chaotic co-op action adventure coming to PC via Steam in 2026.
This is the debut project of Bunkhouse Games, and the game takes us to an alternate version of Scotland in the early nineties. After a scientific cloning experiment of sheep goes completely wrong, the Highlands are flooded with undead sheep and other zombie livestock. Players will have to fight against waves of enemies using almost anything that comes to hand.
Flock Off! supports solo play but is primarily designed as a 1-4 player co-op PvE experience. Players will be able to team up with friends and try to survive the so-called Sheepocalypse, or zombie sheep apocalypse. The opponents will not only be sheep but also llamas, Scottish cattle, and other crazed undead livestock.
One of the main features of the game is the fact that almost anything can serve as a weapon. Players will be able to use traffic cones, chainsaws, lawnmowers, potatoes, shelves, garbage bags, boomboxes, glue, and even a friend named Paul. There will also be four different playable characters, each with their own style and personality.
Shoreline Games has stated that the game won them over during internal testing with its infectious and somewhat bizarre gameplay. The creative director and co-founder of Bunkhouse Games, Ólöf S. Magnúsdóttir, said that working on a game that brings so much laughter and chaos has been a special experience and that they are excited about collaborating with Shoreline Games.
