The wait is over - today Sony officially presented a new, stronger model of the PlayStation 5 console. PlayStation 5 Pro will go on sale on November 7, 2024 at an affordable price of only 799.99 euros! Players will have to pay 120.00 euros separately for the disc reader if they do not want to own a digital console.

For the first time, the PlayStation console will be so powerful that gamers will not have to choose between Fidelity and Performance options in games. Games will run concurrently with detailed graphics and higher frames per second. The above will be possible thanks to improved hardware, a new image upscaling method called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution and advanced Ray Tracing.

The new console will also have a built-in SSD with a capacity of 2 TB, and improved support for 8K resolution. Among other novelties, it should be noted that selected supported PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games will be played in PS5 Pro Game Boost mode, that is, they will have slightly improved graphics, improved performance and/or will be in a higher resolution compared to the original.

The confirmed list of PlayStation 5 Pro compatible games includes Gran Turismo 7, Demon's Souls, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2, Alan Wake 2, Hogwarts Legacy, The Crew Motorfest, The First Descendant and Assassin's Creed: Shadows.
