Brinepunk roguelike co-op FPS Abyssus is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 25, 2026. The console edition will immediately support crossplay between all platforms, meaning players on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam will be able to play together in online co-op mode for 1 to 4 players.
With the console release comes the free 1.3 update, which brings a new God, new blessings, a new area with additional enemies and challenges, new objectives within rooms, and gameplay improvements, including matchmaking tweaks.
PlayStation 5 players will be able to pre-order a physical edition Brine Edition, which includes the base game and four cosmetic DLCs. On release day, a new premium cosmetic add-on, the Brinerot Pack, will also be available.
Abyssus is set in a peculiar brinepunk world and combines fast-paced first-person shooting action, roguelike progression, weapon upgrades, and synergy of blessings. The game is designed with an emphasis on cooperation, experimenting with builds, and challenging battles in the depths of a forgotten underwater civilization.
