Epic Pictures Group and DreadXP have released the first trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of Drakstone Digital's The Mortuary Assistant. The film will follow a similar storyline to the game in which a girl Rebecca Owens gets a job at a morgue, and her boss Raymond (Paul Sparks) hides a horror that exists within her workplace.
Rebecca will be played by Willa Holland, whom many gamers will recognize as the voice of Aqua in the Kingdom Hearts series, while the director will be Jeremiah Kipp, who has mostly directed smaller films. The Mortuary Assistant will premiere on the streaming platform Shudder on February 13.
