The bundle was officially presented at the IGN® Fan Fest and is arriving just in time for the holidays. It is compatible with PC, PC handhelds, Nintendo® Switch™ 1 | 2, Android® devices, smart TVs, tablets, and mobile phones. This is an advanced Guitar Controller that comes with a rich package of collectible accessories.
The main attraction is the Gibson Les Paul Cherry Sunburst Guitar Controller with a high-gloss lacquer finish, integrated pickguard, and a laser-engraved Gibson x CRKD medallion. The package includes two fret necks (OG Pro and Solo Pro), a special CRKD x Gibson strap, two collectible pins, a wireless dongle, stickers, a USB-C cable, and a battery – all housed in a premium CRKD x Gibson backpack.
The controller supports Legacy Mode for classic Guitar Hero™ and Rock Band™ games, while KEYJAM™ Mode allows the guitar to be used as a keyboard and mouse, including compatibility with the Fortnite® Festival on even more platforms, such as Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
Technically, the controller features a Hall Effect strum bar with haptic feedback, mechanical fret buttons, a Hall Effect whammy bar, RGB lighting, and multiple connectivity options (wired low latency, 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth). The navigation hub includes analog sticks, potentiometer-style button controls, and a hidden D-Pad.
Through the CRKD app, it is possible to customize functions, remap buttons, adjust sensitivity, and update firmware, and each product can be registered as part of the "True Collection" system with a unique number and rarity rank.
