The popular Amazon series The Boys is approaching its fifth and final season. Unfortunately, these characters have not received their standalone video game and have appeared as guests in other titles such as Mortal Kombat 1 and Call of Duty. The development team ARVORE and Sony Pictures Virtual Reality have announced the VR title The Boys Trigger Warning.

"From day one, we wanted to create an adaptation that would go hand in hand in this universe. Working with the writers and cast of the series allowed us to bring the humor and brutality that made the series iconic, and we are also bringing a touch of magic that only ARVORE can create," said founder and director Ricardo Justus.

"We are excited to collaborate with ARVORE to bring The Boys Trigger Warning to life (virtual reality). The involvement of the creators of the series helped us push the boundaries of storytelling, and we are grateful to our friends at PlayStation and Meta for bringing this experience to fans," added Sony Pictures Entertainment president Lance Sloane.

The Boys Trigger Warning will tell the story of an original character who joins the well-known group to destroy Vought and achieve brutal revenge. The game will combine stealth and combat with the series' well-known dark humor.

The Boys Trigger Warning will be available for PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest devices at a price of $24.
