Stormforge is a cooperative survival adventure that supports up to eight players and is set in a world affected by devastating magical storms. Each storm brings specific threats – from tornadoes that hurl rocks, trees, and enemies into the air, to sandstorms that reduce visibility and continuously damage players.
What sets the game apart are these dynamic storms that change the gameplay. Within them lie valuable resources, but also dangerous creatures, forcing players to balance between risk and reward. Players will be able to choose from different play styles – from warriors, mages, and rangers to class combinations, along with unlocking special abilities and skills.
A special emphasis is placed on modding and a procedurally generated world, which means almost unlimited content diversity. The game will allow access to community content such as new enemies, equipment, and game rules – without the need for additional downloads.
Stormforge is currently announced for PC via Steam, and already seems like an ambitious attempt to give the survival crafting genre a fresh and dynamic twist.
