Sony has decided to take action against certain titles available on the PlayStation Store. Specifically, they have removed over a thousand titles that are mostly categorized as shovelware, meaning you could easily earn trophies by pressing a single button. The absolute champion of such games is the studio ThiGames, which ranked fourth on the list of the most games of this type.
One of the best examples is the series The Jumping, which featured a different type of dish (pizza, fries, lasagna...) in each title. Unfortunately, this is not even half of the battle that can be fought, as the PlayStation Store is full of various titles that were created through quick AI prompts or are simply cheaper copies of more popular titles. Additionally, such companies reduce visibility for indie studios that are trying to reach a larger number of players through the PlayStation Store and make at least some profit.
