The synchronization is partially there, but the subtitles are complete.

Unfortunately, the Croatian language has never been popular within video games, but it has partially made its way into some well-known titles for PlayStation in the form of subtitles and translated menus. It is important to emphasize that the games containing it are not small, but rather well-known series that have shaped the legacy of the aforementioned console.

Medievil

Sir Daniel Fortesque is one of the somewhat forgotten faces in the memory of certain players and lists of video games. The hero of the Medievil series appeared in four games: Medievil (PS1), Medievil 2 (PS1), Medievil: Resurrection (PSP), and a sort of remake from 2019 on PlayStation 4. It is this last title that had translated menus and text.

Buzz! Brain of Croatia

Buzz! Brain of Croatia (Buzz! Brain of the World) is a title from 2009 that is part of a popular quiz series. It was the eighth installment that appeared on PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 3. What set this part apart from previous ones was that it was focused on certain parts of Europe and had questions related to geography, culture, and other categories specific to the country. The game also had menus and questions that were translated into Croatian.

God of War and God of War Ragnarök

The newer adventures of Kratos from 2018 and 2022 also featured voice translation and fully translated menus, even locations on the map.

Detroit Become Human/Beyond Two Souls

Quantic Dream is known for action-narrative titles that shaped their story almost in a film style, featuring interactive parts that required quick reactions. Their games also featured well-known faces as part of the cast, including: Elliot Page, Valorie Curry, Jesse Williams, and Willem Dafoe.

Days Gone

Days Gone, upon release, unfortunately faced mixed reviews due to its story and world, which most critics and audiences said lacked activities that made the overall experience weak. The story took place during a zombie apocalypse caused by a virus that turned residents into creatures called Freakers, with the main characters being Deacon St. John (Sam Witwer) and William "Boozer" Gray (Jim Pirri).

The Last of Us Part I, Part II and Part II Remastered

Another popular zombie title that has also moved to screens in the form of a series had text and menus in Croatian in the first, second, and remastered second part.

Ghost of Tsushima/Ghost of Yotei

The samurai series Ghost of in both games had text and menus in Croatian in the base game and the multiplayer mode Legends.

Hidden Agenda

Hidden Agenda is the only title on this list that, along with the previously mentioned texts and menus, had complete synchronization in Croatian. This happened as part of update 1.07. It is a multiplayer title that supports PlayLink technology where players control characters using mobile devices and make decisions that significantly affect the game's development. The game also features actress Katie Cassidy, who appeared in the series Supernatural and Arrow, and is also the daughter of the late actor and singer David Cassidy (The Partridge Family).

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

The ninth installment of the adventures of popular Ratchet and his companion Clank in the PlayStation 5 title Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart had translated text and menus.
