Action RPG The Awakener: Battle Tendency is coming to PC via Steam on May 5, confirmed developer Taner Games.
It is a third-person hack-and-slash title that combines fast-paced action with a deep loot and character-building system through random “affix” bonuses on equipment. Players can expect battles in dynamic, illusory battlefields where they will team up with warriors from different eras to confront a demonic ruler known as Erosion King.
A strong emphasis is placed on the active combat system – dodging, proper positioning, and timing attacks are key to survival, while diverse equipment combinations allow for the creation of different and often unpredictable builds.
The campaign is expected to last between 20 and 50 hours, with additional challenging content for players who want to further test their builds after completing the game. Additionally, the developers emphasize that the game will not have live service elements like battle passes or daily quests, but will offer a complete experience through a single purchase.
