Only Up Rush is a game developed and published by NOSTRA GAMES, and it has been available on XBOX since last month. The game is optimized for XBOX Series X/S, as well as for handheld devices. You can play this title as XBOX play anywhere and it is available for 4K and 60+ fps.
To start off, we will provide you with a bit of education.
The Croatian Gymnastics Federation defines what Parkour is.
Parkour is a dynamic discipline based on efficient movement through the environment, using only the abilities of one's own body. The main goal of parkour is to overcome obstacles in the fastest, most efficient, and safest way, using techniques of running, jumping, landing, climbing, rolling, swinging, squeezing, and moving in a quadrupedal position.
Parkour emphasizes fluidity of movement, adaptability, and creativity, allowing athletes – known as traceurs (male) or traceuses (female) – to navigate through urban and natural environments with ease and elegance.
We believe this is also the best description.
The game is quite simple. It starts with you creating your character and climbing as high as possible. The good thing is that you have checkpoints on your way up, so you don’t have to worry too much about falling down! The main goal is to climb higher than the last time, and it also tracks the time showing how quickly you are climbing.
It is also relaxing, not overly difficult, although it would be quite exhausting and tiring without checkpoints. Unfortunately, there is no depth or story or any meaning, but you will enjoy climbing to higher levels. One certain drawback is the visuals, which could have been better, as well as the environment. On the other hand, jumping from object to object doesn’t quite maintain the weight it should.
Conclusion: A good game for relaxation, if you can overlook the lack of story and depth during gameplay.
