Forza Horizon 6 – the new open-world racing game from Playground Games – will officially be released on May 19, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S and PC (via Microsoft Store and Steam), with the possibility of playing on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Early access begins on May 15 for those who purchase the Premium Edition.
The game features the largest map in the history of the series, set in a Japan-inspired environment with over 550 real cars and various racing and exploration content. Although Forza Horizon has traditionally been an Xbox platform exclusive, it has been confirmed that a version for PlayStation 5 will arrive later in 2026, but without a specific date yet.
Forza Horizon 6 thus continues the popular series of racing games with an emphasis on accessible fun, a wide selection of vehicles, and spectacular open environments, this time focusing on Japanese culture and landscapes.
