Weekend Games has announced Remote Control, a psychological survival horror typing game for PC that will arrive on Steam during 2026. Developed by Canteen Games, the game combines the tense atmosphere of Alien: Isolation with the dehumanizing corporate horror of the Severance series.
The story follows the mysterious disappearance of a spaceship crew, and you uncover the truth by controlling human "proxies" solely by typing commands. You have only 12 people at your disposal, and every death is permanent. With a dark sci-fi atmosphere and moral dilemmas, Remote Control brings a fresh twist to the horror genre.
