The holiday season will soon begin in World of Tanks, a time for celebrations, gifts, and great prizes. This year, acclaimed British actor Benedict Cumberbatch joins us in the celebrations as the official ambassador for the World of Tanks Holiday Operations 2026. Known for his intelligence and attractive appearance, Cumberbatch brings a fresh approach to leadership characterized by calmness, strategy, and smart guidance on the battlefield.

The Holiday Operations 2026 start on December 5, 2025, and last until January 12, 2026. Players can look forward to a magical winter adventure full of holiday missions, dazzling rewards, and festive surprises. Benedict Cumberbatch welcomes tankers to the holiday Garage, assigns special tasks, and creates a truly unique atmosphere. Players will be able to win exclusive celebrity-themed rewards, including his appearance in the game as a tank commander, along with his original voice.

"I am excited to be part of the World of Tanks Holiday Operations this year," said Cumberbatch. "It’s a game that celebrates strategy, teamwork, and forward thinking. I truly enjoyed collaborating with the team and bringing a new vibe to that world—along with a bit of holiday spirit. I wish all players a fantastic holiday season."

In addition to in-game celebrations, the World of Tanks team continues its annual holiday tradition of presenting a brand new original short film for the Holiday Operations. This year, the story follows Sebastian, a shy office worker who can't muster the courage to talk to the girl Sarah he has a crush on. Enter Benedict Cumberbatch as a witty, somewhat eccentric therapist who helps him face his fears with clever, unconventional exercises. The result is a charming, entertaining, and slightly surreal story about courage, connection, and shared love for World of Tanks—a holiday reminder that courage often begins in the most unexpected ways.
