Ubisoft has released a new update regarding the future of the Assassin's Creed series, confirming several important projects and improvements for existing games. The biggest news is the official confirmation of the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced project, a modernized version of the popular pirate adventure from 2013.

In addition to the remake, Ubisoft also announced a technical improvement for Assassin's Creed Unity. The game received a free patch that enables 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, allowing for a much smoother experience exploring 18th century Paris.

In the update, Ubisoft also mentioned future projects in development, including Codename HEXE, a new darker story within the Assassin's Creed universe, and Codename Invictus, an experimental PvP multiplayer title.

With these moves, Ubisoft shows that it wants to simultaneously modernize old classics and develop new projects, while the Assassin's Creed series continues to remain one of the most important and longest-lasting gaming brands in the industry.
