Naughty Dog canceled The Last of Us Factions 2 in 2023 after more than four years of development, but players never forgot what they lost. But one small indie studio decided to take matters into their own hands. Indie studio Albatross Interactive is working on Terminal War, a game they describe as their version of the canceled Factions 2. The project was previously known as United State, and the studio is developing and financing it independently. It is a team-based third-person shooter set in the post-apocalyptic America of the late 90s, with intense 4v4 battles, unlimited ammo and locations such as abandoned cities and war-torn areas. The studio recently published an unofficial gameplay teaser on social networks, which immediately attracted attention, and an official gameplay trailer is expected soon. The release date is not yet known, but you can already add the game to the Steam wishlist. For now, there is no information about a possible release on PS5 or Xbox.
