Bethesda has officially confirmed that Starfield is coming to PlayStation 5 on April 7, 2026, along with a major free update and new story DLC.
With the release on PlayStation 5, the game gets a free update "Free Lanes", which brings one of the most requested functions - travel between planets within the system without constant fast travel. The update also adds new locations, dungeons, enemies, resources and even a new vehicle to explore.
At the same time, the paid DLC "Terran Armada" arrives, which introduces a new story, characters and the threat of robotic forces, along with a series of new quests and rewards. The PlayStation 5 version will use the capabilities of the DualSense controller, while the game will be available at a price of 49.99 euros, with a Premium edition that includes additional content.
This pack marks the biggest update to Starfield since release, and an attempt to further expand the game and attract a new audience.
