Jupiter has announced a new project for Nintendo Switch called Picross S Konami Antiques which will be released on 30. April for Nintendo Switch at a price of 18 euros. As they say, it is a collaboration between the game Picross S and the popular company Konami.
So we will see some familiar faces from over 80 titles from different genres, and only some of them are from beloved games such as Castlevania, Contra and Gradius and all of them have been transformed into pixel art puzzles. Players will have a choice of categories that include: Picross, Mega Picross, Color Picross and Clip Picross and an additional category called extra mode which will have puzzles with reconstructions of famous scenes. There will also be a time attack where our characters have to finish puzzles in the shortest possible time.
The number of puzzles is 150 each for Picross and Mega Picross and 5 for Clip Picross for a total of 200 pieces of puzzles of 40 each, 30 for Color Picross and 5 for Extra. Time Attack mode contains 30 carefully selected Picross puzzles. For those who want to listen to their favorite songs from Konami games, they will be able to do so with the Music Player feature.
Picross series is a collection of picture crosswords where you have to follow clues left by numbers to put the picture together, what makes the series special is the simple and easy rules for players of all skill levels to enjoy.
