A new update for Honkai: Star Rail is coming soon to players worldwide. The development studio HoYoverse has officially announced that version 4.1 called "Unraveled for Daybreak" will be available on 25. March 2026 on all platforms where the game is currently available.
The new update continues the story set in the world of Planarcadia, where the crew of the Astral Express come to a big event called Star Rail FEST – a festival inspired by their previous interstellar adventures. Although the festival seems like a big celebration at first glance, behind the scenes a complex conspiracy related to the Phantasmoon Games event begins to develop.
At the center of the new story is Ashveil, an unusual detective who will become a playable character in this version. As a 5-star Lightning character on Path of The Hunt, Ashveil specializes in an aggressive fighting style, boosting allies' critical damage and marking enemies as "Bait", which lowers the opponent's defense and allows for powerful additional attacks.
Version 4.1 also brings new gameplay content such as the Wispae War Saga activity, where players lead small units in strategic battles, and additional rewards, double resource events and free warps for logged in players.
With new story, characters and activities, the Unraveled for Daybreak update continues to expand the game's universe and prepare the ground for the next chapter of this popular RPG adventure
