NihonGame has announced a collection of fighting games from the Hiryu no Ken (Fist of the Flying Dragon) series. In total, the first four games will be included: Hiryu no Ken, Hiryu no Ken II: Dragon no Tsubasa, Hiryu no Ken III: Gonin no Ryusenshi, and Hiryu no Ken: Special Fighting Wars. The collection will be available exclusively on PC via Steam, and will be released on 15. April, but only with support for the Japanese language.
Hiryu no Ken is an action series based on mixed martial arts, and the included titles have various gameplay styles from martial arts to side-scrolling. One of the main features of these titles is the Shingan name system where the player has to target specific parts of the opponent's body in order to attack or defend which adds a touch of tactics. The center of the story focuses on the revival of a great demon and the battle against the Dragon Fang organization that wants to rule the world.
