The cult classic RPG Gothic Classic is coming to mobile devices soon. Publisher THQ Nordic has officially confirmed that the game will arrive on the iOS platform in 2026. It is a port of the original Gothic from 2001, one of the most influential European RPGs that has gained a strong fan base over the years, especially in Europe.
The return of the legend to mobile devices
This will not be the first time that Gothic comes to new platforms. A version called Gothic Classic has already been released earlier for Nintendo Switch, while versions for PlayStation and Xbox consoles are also planned during 2026. The arrival on iOS is part of the wider celebration of the 25th anniversary of the series, which began back in 2001.
What to expect?
While details of the mobile version have not yet been fully revealed, the iOS release is expected to bring:
