Farming Simulator 26 has been officially announced for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, and is scheduled for release on May 19, 2026. Pre-orders for the Switch version are already available through the Nintendo eShop and select stores.
The new installment of the popular series introduces a challenge system that offers players different tasks and rewards, which further encourages progression, but without losing the relaxed pace of gameplay that the series is known for.
The game will contain two new maps - European and North American - where players will be able to manage the farm through various activities. Among them are the cultivation of as many as 15 different crops, the care of animals such as cows, sheep and chickens, as well as work in forestry. New production chains further expand the gameplay, enabling the processing of resources such as wheat into flour or cakes.
More than 120 authentic machines from well-known manufacturers such as John Deere, Fendt and New Holland will be available, continuing the tradition of realism for which the series is recognizable. With improved tutorials and a GPS system, the game will be more accessible to new players, especially on mobile devices and Switch, while experienced players will still have enough depth through more complex tasks and challenges.
