Media.Vision and Bandai Namco have announced that Digimon Story: Time Stranger will get a new expansion next year. The game's producer Ryosuke Hara revealed a little more information and what fans can expect during the Digimon Con 2026 event.
"We have already entered the development phase and while all the results we received as part of the recent survey will not enter the expansion, we have thought carefully and will introduce them in future games, as well as this expansion. We ask you to follow us for the next few days as to what exactly will appear. The expansion is still far away and I cannot say what the content will be, but I can say that the voice actor Mutsumi Tamura will return to lend the voice of Aegiomon again."
Tsujimon one of the leaders of Digimon Con asked Hara if the return of Aegiomon means that the game will be set in a parallel world or the future, Hara just replied that he meant well, but that he couldn't tell him more than that.
By the way, Bandai Namco recently conducted a survey where they announced the results of the 139th Digimon Referendum, to find out which Digimon players want to train in future titles. They had a choice between 35 Digimon, and the top 10 included:

- Casemon
- Gumdramon
- Pulsemon
- Herissmon
- Terriermon Assistant
- Meicoomon
- Madman
- Gekkomon
