Development team Hexworks and publisher CI Games released a new gameplay teaser for the upcoming installment of the Lords of the Fallen series. The gameplay was created as part of nine episodes of the series Lifting the Veil where the team reveals us in detail certain parts of the game.
This time the focus was on the new version of the Umbral world called Umbral 2.0 and it was explained how it is developing and that feedback from the first game helped shape it. Ryan Hill, James Lowe, Daniel Regan and Alex Harkin said that Umbral 2.0 in Lords of the Fallen 2 is more aggressive and resilient and will play a big role in shaping our journey.
"If the Umbral used to be the realm of the dead, it has since become the realm of the immortals. Its outer bark has been torn away, leaving only raw flesh like a wound that has a new hunger." Said Hill in a special address.
Lords of the Fallen II is coming out this year for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
