Asus has announced that it is preparing a new model of the handheld device ROG Xbox Ally X, which is expected to be visually more appealing and stronger. XBOX Ally X OLED will use the same AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and 24 GB of RAM, and it will feature the aforementioned OLED screen, which will be 0.4 inches larger while still maintaining a 1080p resolution. However, unlike its predecessor, the VRR range will be reduced to 30Hz instead of 48Hz as it was in the original.
Xbox Ally X OLED comes with TMR sticks and will also have a transforming D-Pad that can switch between two modes by rotating: 4-way and 8-way. However, what is disappointing is the fact that Asus has decided to sell the OLED model of the Xbox Ally X bundled with the ROG XREAL R1 augmented reality glasses, which cost around 850 euros, meaning that the price of the Xbox Ally X20 package could reach up to 2500 euros.
