In May, a Museum of Video Game History will open in the center of Zagreb. The museum will be located on three floors and cover more than 800 square meters, showcasing over 3000 exhibits that testify to the evolution of video games and gaming culture from the sixties to the early 2000s.
The founder of the museum is Damir Šlogar, a pioneer and internationally recognized authority in the world of video games. The collection has been gathered for nearly three decades and contains some of the rarest and historically most significant artifacts from the history of video games. In addition to the exhibits, the museum will feature interactive content that will allow visitors to experience the past live.
The museum will house a rich collection of original arcade games, such as the legendary Computer Space and PONG, as well as the largest collection of computer games from the 20th century in the world. Special events, guest lectures, and meetings with the most influential figures in the world of video games are also planned.
