Techland has launched a new update for Dying Light: The Beast and a special Halloween event in Dying Light 2: Stay Human, perfect for entering the eerie atmosphere of the holiday of fear.
In Dying Light: The Beast, the new patch brings fresh content, fixes, and improvements. Enemies can now surrender when a weapon is aimed at them, adding a new dimension to combat. There are also 9 new finishing moves for different types of weapons — from knives to two-handed hammers. The Community Challenge “Call of the Beast” has been launched, where the community must hit millions of enemies with gunfire to unlock rewards such as Marksman Car Skin and Bullseye rifle.
At the same time, Dying Light 2: Stay Human is celebrating Halloween with the Halloween Showdown event, which runs from October 30 to November 20. Players collect candy from defeated zombies and donate it in exchange for faction rewards and unique amulets. The city of Villedor is decorated in Halloween style, and enemies like Pumpkintiles, Witchesa, and Scaregoonsa are making a return.
Along with all this, new characters have been added (Cursed Pirate, CyberRaider), special rewards, and Halloween bundles — Volkan and CyberRaider — which bring futuristic gear and experimental weapons available in the in-game store.
