Sony delighted PC gamers yesterday with the news that a PlayStation Network account for PC ports will be optional. For quite some time, players have been refusing to play their games due to the infamous account. To entice them to create one, they will offer various benefits for titles such as: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and God of War Ragnarok.
The benefits include the following:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: early unlock of two suits (Spider-Man 2099 Black Suit and Miles Morales 2099 Suit)
- God of War Ragnarok: Armor of the Black Bear and a resource pack (500 Hacksilver and 250 XP)
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered: 50+ points to unlock additional features and Jordan’s Jacket from Intergalactic (skin for Ellie)
- Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered: Gain access to Nora Valiant outfit
They also promised that in the future, more development studios will be adding new rewards for their titles.
