Techland has announced that it has moved the release date for the new Dying Light game. Dying Light: The Beast was supposed to be released on September 19 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, so the new date will be one day earlier on September 18. All players who own the Ultimate edition of Dying Light 2 will receive The Beast completely free.
Also, as another pre-order bonus, they will receive a item that the team will reveal as the release date approaches. Dying Light: The Beast has already been purchased by over a million players according to Techland. "We see that players are excited about the return of Kyle Crane in the new Dying Light, knowing that the game is ready we wanted to do something for our players," said series director Tymon Smektala.
"We have worked hard to make the impossible possible, and that’s why we will release the game a little earlier. I can’t wait to see the reactions when players enter the world of Dying Light: The Beast."
