Sony announced that Little Big Planet 3 and all additional content for other games in the series will be removed from their store on October 31. They also stated that all players who purchase the games or content before they are removed will have the right to use them afterwards.
The development team at Media Molecule wrote on X that this series has shaped them and remains a part of who they are, adding that they are grateful to the community that has kept the games alive over the years.
Little Big Planet 3 was released in 2014 for PlayStation 3 and was developed by Sumo Digital; the game servers were shut down in April of this year.
