The Croatian Audiovisual Centre, through the Games Croatia project and in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, successfully presented the Croatian video game industry at the World Expo EXPO 2025 Osaka. The presentation took place as part of the global initiative Games Around The World during the thematic week "Learning & Playing" in July.
"Learning & Playing" in July. In Osaka, the Croatian video game industry was presented by Benjamin Noah Maričak, the head of the Games Croatia project and responsible for video games and new technologies at HAVC. Alongside him, visitors were guided through the games by Rea Budić and Renato Lovreković from the Tiny Meow studio, residents of the PISMO Incubator. "It was beautiful to see how the fair visitors showed enthusiasm and immense interest in Croatian video games. We are grateful that the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia gave us the opportunity to present the Croatian video game industry at the same World Expo where Nikola Tesla showcased his innovations! The reactions of visitors and the interest that Croatian video games generated confirm that we are taking the right steps towards strengthening the international recognition of our audiovisual industry," said Maričak.
